Linked to the Oakland Repeater via a UHF Link, the Anthony Peak
system is located on a 7000 foot mountain top approximately 150 air miles from
the Bay Area. Completely solar powered, its accessed via 2
meters and is on the Oakland repeater companion frequency of 147.210, standard
split with a required 103.5 PL. Each year, the users of the system visit
the site to perform maintenance both in and outside the vault. In
addition, a campground called Wells Cabin at the 6300 foot level provides a
great resource for camping just about 1 mile away from the repeater site.

Antennas on the wooden pole. The 2 UHF yagis on top point
directly towards the Oakland repeater and provide a link to that facility.
The antenna on the left is for 2 meters. Below, solar panels provide power
to constantly charge the batteries inside the vault.
