In a tremendous creative quest to light up the local Island neighborhood for the 2002 Christmas holidays, our friends and neighbors across the street designed, constructed, and erected a true replica of the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge.  Dave and Carrie Bockholt, had been working on this project over the past year.  The bridge is now complete and spans the waterway between their home and their neighbors house across the water, a total of 108 feet.  Dave solicited the assistance of some of the neighbors around.  I was asked to design the flashing beacons on top of the two towers, and help with the erection of the bridge itself.  The following chronicles some of the work involved in the bridge project.  The bridge is 1/60th scale.
