These last pictures were taken on our stop over in Redding on the way up to the wedding in Oregon.  After returning from dinner, we ran into Billy who was a smoke jumper working with the forest service on the surrounding fires in the area.  He seemed like a nice guy so we asked him if he would like to come with us for a nightcap.  He agreed so we went out for a couple of beers.  After all, it's the least we could have done for someone as dedicated to saving lives.  Wow, I hope he didn't have to jump out of an airplane the next morning.  Yikes!
